A VERY soon-to-be college grad.I want to travel everywhere I can before I have to settle down and find a "real job"

ABOUT ME

-I am a pessimist slowly learning to be more optimistic.
-I am horribly addicted to reality tv (Real Housewives of New Jersey!)
-With that said, I am trying to watch less tv, and read more books. Currently reading The Bell Jar.
-As a film student I have taken many classes on directors. My favorite by far is Woody Allen. I appreciate his neurotic character's tendencies.
-Halloween is my favorite holiday
-I dye my hair depending on how stressful my life gets.
-I would eat dessert for every meal if possible.
-I drink 2 liters of water a day
-I have many strange...quirks such as hating popsicle sticks with a passion, being terrified of water other than baths and the shallow ends of pools, keeping a Ouija board in my car, having a messy room but a spotless kitchen, I'm a Floridian but hate the sun and hot weather...these are just a few
-I CANNOT start my day without a big cup of coffee
-I would like to be more adventurous, thus the solo trip to Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life as stress-less as possible. I surround myself with good friends and good energy. I try to live as peacefully and happily as I possibly can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My cousin told me about her great experiences with couchsurfing, and as I travel through Europe I would like to meet other couchsurfers, so when I get home I can tell other people about this great community.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: my favorites are tied between Gone With the Wind and Rocky Horror Picture Show. I like almost all romcoms, horror films, Hitchcock films, Wood Allen films, and some foreign.

Books: Twilight, no judging please:), getting through all the classics now (but I takes me a while to read)

Music: anything mellow

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This March (2010) I took a spur of the moment trip to Washington D.C. and Philly with my old college roommates. I packed a bag in 20 minutes and was out the door to catch up with them three states away! An 11 hour drive and a nasty cold later, I can home exhausted beyond belief. But it was the best week of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not to brag, but I honestly believe I make the best pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Anyone who I meet along the way (who has an oven) might get a batch:)
