About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 year old student, living in St. Paul in intentional community. It's been a busy few years, and I haven't had as much time to travel or couchsurf as I would like, so hopefully once school is done, I'll have more time.

PHILOSOPHY

Do awesome stuff so your grandkids don't find you boring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, right now, I can't host, because the people I live with are uncomfortable with it. Not much time for meetups, either, because I've got a lot of homework, but I'll try to keep my eyes open!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Chicago twice, and St Louis once, several meetups, both times were fantastic!

Interests

I'm studying family social sciences, and hoping to work as a sex educator in the future, so right now, a LOT of academia. I also love to knit, bake, see movies, go to concerts, and meet new people. Biking in the summer, although I can't winter bike because I now have a history of hypothermia, swimming, and more! Generally open to new stuff, I like to have a variety of experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a major Josh Ritter fangirl, and generally when I travel nowadays, it's to go to concerts. Wide variety of movies, and not nearly as much reading as I'd like to be doing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gone to the City Museum of St. Louis!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm one of those saps who really does believe that everyone has something to give. I don't usually go out of my way to teach people things, but just learning the points of view and experiences of others is pretty fantabulous. The only thing I really don't like are people without any opinion or passion. Every other person I've known has taught me something, so it stands to reason that I've taught something to others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Damn good conversation, weird and fun ideas, and amazing cinnamon rolls, if you have the tools!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Canada, Ghana, Guatemala, Israel, Mexico, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
