About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Embrace spontaneity and enjoy every day.
ABOUT ME
Born in the midwest, I grew up in Lorain, Ohio right on the edge of Lake Erie. I love the water and can't imagine living someplace where it isn't nearby. Since high school, I have occasionally contemplated where my life might be headed, but as I still have some college left to go, I haven't started to worry about it too much yet. I love a good book and usually surprise myself by doing things that might actually kill me--like cycling across Southeast America and rafting the Gauley River.
PHILOSOPHY
The world is too big to stay in one place for long.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My friend and I couch surfed while cycling across the Southeastern United States this summer. The experience wouldn't have been the same--or nearly as enjoyable--without our awesome hosts. They were all kind, interesting individuals who made the 90 miles of cycling it took to get to their house entirely worth it. I can't wait to meet more people from this community in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I love endings that sneak up on me and turn the story into something truly surprising and great. Yann Martel's Life of Pi is one of my favorite reads and Margaret Atwood is a personal heroine of mine.
Music: Like a favorite color, I think picking a favorite band or even genre is just selling the entire concept of music short. That being said, I have a crush on Ben Folds and listened to Michael Franti and Spearhead for 3 days straight while biking across Georgia.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After this summer, I will hopefully be able to say that I've cycled across the eastern United States of America.
