Born and raised in Switzerland, a little fairytale, with its mountains and lakes, cows, accurate watches and an unlimited selection of cheese and chocolate. As pretty as it is, I feel limited, I can not breath, I am not as creative as I used to be. So, I knew for a while, that one day I will leave, for an undefined amount of time: Here I am! A couple of months ago I quit my job, my apartment, left friends and family behind, to live in Asia.
I am a city girl, talkative, active and outgoing but at the beginning a bit shy! I love coffee and sitting at a coffee shop just reading and observing. I can wander the streets for hours, getting lost on purpose what I call "dinging". This is also my way of getting on overview of a new place. I like to go to the roof of condos, visit cemeteries and get to know the local art and music scene. I am keen to hike up hills and explore some nature (waterfalls?! hidden beach?! take me!)

So this isn't just another backpacking story. Yes sure, I am carrying my belonging in a backpack but ultimately I am looking for places to stay for a while, and maybe even to live for a longer amount of time. I would like to know how you live, where you spend your free time, what you do on weekends, where you do laundry, where you eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, where and what you work, where you studied, if you have siblings, where your parents live and what they do for living, who your friends are, what your dreams and goals are. Show me your home, introduce me to your culture, let me see your city and your country through your eyes!

MUSIC _ People make fun of my iTunes playlist, which has been rarely updated since 2009, so imagine all the good old 90 'songs! ;) MOVIES _ Bring me to a local cinema and I 'm happy as a pig in mud! The cinemas are often the same, but the whole experience can be so different, it's kind of a movie extension! ;) BOOKS _ It can be very emotional and sometimes even becomes an intense love / hate relationship! A book without dog-ears is an unread book!
