I am 18 years old and I am currently an au pair in Stuttgart, Germany. I am choosing travel over higher education (at least temporarily) as I would rather spend that money getting to know other countries and other people. I am friendly, outgoing, cheerful and energetic. I also love sunshine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, discover new places and meet new people. It's also a pipe dream of mine to see if I can travel to every country in the world for less than the cost of going to university. No serious plans yet though!

Interests

I love to dance, read, draw and write. I have a blog, www.everyextraordinaryday.wordpress.com, in which I document all sorts of things. I strongly believe in animal rights and have been vegan since March 2014. I also love getting to know people and learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: a bit geeky but I love the music from Doctor Who, I think it is absolutely beautiful. As a ballet dancer, I am also fond of classical pieces.
Movies: oh that changes on a daily basis. Right now? Roman Holiday, you can't beat a bit of Audrey Hepburn.
Books: again, it could be anything, but Love, Nina and Someday Angeline both have a place in my heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In September 2014 I donated 13 inches of my hair to a charity which supplies wigs to children who have lost their hair (from chemotherapy or alopecia) free of charge. I donated 7 inches again in September 2015.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, if you'll let me. I make lots of sweet treats and healthy vegan meals (not as bad as they sound, in fact, they're actually really tasty - even my meat-eating younger brother thinks so!)
