About Me
[ currently in Berlin for a couple of months (or perhaps forever?) and would love to meet some great likeminded (or not) people around ]
I'm a filmmaker from a small little insignificant town way out in the Danish countryside... We're talking a village of just over 200 people. And lots of trees. Hills, lakes, and birds. It's fresh.
Since then I've done a lot of traveling and moving between countries (and continents), and as it is I still haven't managed to settle anywhere... But I'm taking life as it comes, and part of the journey is knowing that we'll never be able to predict what tomorrow brings :)
I'm into beer tastings, good (vegetarian, preferably vegan) food and generally enjoying life and the sunshine.
And I'm queer.
I am very curious about the tiny house movement and vanlife at the moment -- I own a VW LT31 caravan that's currently sitting in Denmark, but I'm going to vanlife Europe this summer with her. Her name is Bumblebee.
... I also have a bunny. His name is Caramelo and he lives in my room with me here in Berlin, where he particularly enjoys eating parts of the couch and certain decorative flowers. His favorite things are popcorn and beer (no, I am NOT deliberately feeding him this! He steals). I am beginning to think he has serious mood swings, too. We're still best friends though.
We can be friends, too ^_^
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been happy to meet some great people through Couchsurfing while traveling, hang out with the Thailand CS community and host as well. So far it's been great!
Interests
Humor. People. Travels. Film. Writing. Art. Free thinking.
Magnificent creatures like savannah cats, parrots, horses and elephants. Anything action-packed that will give me that special near-death thrill, like taking my sky diving certificate.
Planning how I'm gonna escape the monotonous treadmill of a 9-5 existence and instead explore the world onboard a sailboat for years and years to come. Or alternatively, something else that would be just as awesome.
Figuring out how things work. Like, how they really work. Secretly, underneath the surface.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many to mention! I'm easily excited/happy about things.
Teach, Learn, Share
Planning is a waste of time -- you really never know what happens down the road and anything can and will change in an instant. Prepare and aim for the best outcome and expect the unexpected.
I've found in life that any energy you send out returns to you somehow.
