TRAVELING CENTRAL AMERICA UNTIL END OF JANUARY 2015 WITH MY GIRLFRIEND SARAH!!
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy a month in Central America without thinking about work!
ABOUT SARAH (my girlfriend)
New to CouchSurfing but has experience traveling and living abroad. From Adelaide in South Australia but lived in Sydney for the last 10yrs. Works in the fashion industry but has a passion for writing with a number of her stories being published in magazines. Loves art, fashion, music and traveling. Also an amazing cook... that good that I rarely cook anymore because I am not as good as I once thought. Very caring and considerate of others.
ABOUT ME
Well travelled. Hard working. Business owner. Australian. Ok in the kitchen. Taurean.
At the start of 2011 I moved back to Sydney after a year abroad. I live in a 2 story house in Annandale with my girlfriend Sarah and 2yr old dog - Claude. I have travelled allot and Couch Surfed as much as possible.
I work in film production which I enjoy.
I love cooking, photography, surfing, wine, live tunes, camping, and of course I have an urge to see EVERYTHING on this planet. I'm a non smoker (except shisha!) but frequent drinker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE WITH COUCH SURFING
I can host, meet for coffee or show you around town. I move around allot with work and often in Sydney or Wollongong. I can usually host/meet in both places it just depends on whats going on at the time.
I am very well traveled and love to meet people who have stories to tell of destinations I am yet to experience. I love a good night out on the town.
My home town of Wollongong has some of the best beaches on the East Coast so if your up for a wave that's not overcrowded then head on down. Surfing camps available down this way also.
Some good venues not to be missed in Wollongong are as follows:
* North Gong Hotel is a hit through the summer with the largest outdoor area available. Snitzel is a hit and the other pub grub aint too bad ;
* Brewery is a hit and miss sometimes and you can usually find the owner slumped over the bar himself which is most likely due to the strength of the cocktails (which is not a bad thing in my opinion);
* Hotel Illawarra (Killa) is also not too bad for Friday arvo drinks. Usually a hang out for the business suited crowd though;
* Towrodgi Beach Hotel is a little out of the way but often has some good gigs on;
* Scarborough Hotel If your heading down from Sydney on the train stop off at as this as it is an iconic pub situated on the cliff face and his a huge hit with touristy and Sydney siders on the weekend;
* The Bulli Heritage is also a stop off on the way down. It has some cool international acts here and a pretty good little live venue;
* Beaches Hotel in Thirroul might be a bit hard for you to get to but is ok for more your surfer and local hangout;
* Also some cool bars further south in Kiama, Jamberoo and Gerringong.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN LIFE!
I am involved in a number of Non Profit Organisations that raise money and awareness for various issues that effect you and me!
Blackmores Sydney Running Festival - Half Marathon
Never been done before but this year, my 30th I shall complete a 21km race to throughout Sydney to raise funds for the Cancer Council. Please help me get across the line and the millions that suffer from Cancer every year.

MOvember - Each year MOvember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces around the world, with the sole aim of raising vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.

The Santa Claus Pub Crawl - The Santa Claus Pub Crawl has been in circulation for over 15 years now and originally started with a small group of friends who wanted to donate to the Salvation Army. Now over 4000 people attend this event and it has gained recognition from Wikipedia for being the longest running pub crawl of its kind in the world. All participants donate a toy which is then passed onto the disadvantaged children in the Southern Sydney area.

Misko Foundation - Misko is a Hungarian boy who was born on January 25, 2007. A year later it turned out that he suffers from a progressive muscle dystrophy of genetic origins (DMD), which is considered an incurable disease by current scientific standards. The aim of our foundation is to make Misko’s life as “ordinary” as possible, while we search for a possible cure together with the parents. I spent some time in Budapest helping raise awareness of this foundation in 2010. I continue to do some work with the organisation even though I now am back in Australia.
