For books, I worked my way through the classics, Dickens and Hardy and Conrad, cause that's what you find in english in bookstores world-wide. Stood the test of time.
I love live music, folk singers, music festivals where they have groups from around the world (like the Winnipeg Folk Festival in my home city!)
