ABOUT ME

I love finding things that make me happy and going for them. After a few years of forgetting who I am and studying for the sake of studying, I woke up and realized I need to get back to who I am and what I want. I found a college program that I am excited about, I began playing soccer again, I became confident in being myself. I have gained many friends over the years and always do my best to stay in touch, plan get-togethers, and make visits. I love reading and watching movies, drawing, eating, and creating. I have wanted to travel for a long time, and have finally stopped letting little excuses getting in the way. I am excited to see the world and go on as many adventures as possible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to Couchsurfing.org and am very excited to meet people and make connections!

I have slept on many couches over the years, some comfier than others, but I am always greatly appreciative. I think it is a great thing to invite others into your home for rest and shelter. After all, we are all travelers and explorers, eager to see the world, so why not help each other out and make our travels a little easier, friendlier, and cushier.

Interests

I love participating in projects and being a part of teams, such as the Solar Car team at University of Waterloo and the varsity soccer team at Durham College. I have met so many amazing people on the races, and helped to build an awesome car. At soccer, I have had the pleasure of playing with some fantastic athletes and learning from great coaches.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, a few of my favourites are: Rush, Lights, Eminem, Metric, Taylor Swift, Of Monsters and Men, Hans Zimmer, and Ludovico Einaudi.

I love to watch movies, some of my favourites are: the Harry Potter series, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, any of the Disney classics or Disney Pixar, La Vita e Bella, Veer Zaara, The Hunger Games trilogy, the Star Wars Saga, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Little Miss Sunshine, Young Frankenstein, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

I love following TV series, some of the show I watch are: Game of Thrones, Grey's Anatomy, Breaking Bad, Community, Girls, Flashpoint, Modern Family, Suits, The Mentalist, The Mindy Project, The Big Bang Theory, Skins, Glee, 30 Rock, The Twilight Zone.

I love reading as well, some of the books I've read are: the Harry Potter series, the Hunger Games series, A Song of Fire and Ice series, The Mortal Instruments series, The Hobbit, The Help, Wicked, The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
