I currently live in East London, but will be travelling around Peru throughout the end of May and June. I am then going to be starting a job as a Theatre Consultant - finally putting my engineering degree to good use after 2 years working in theatre.

I can come across as quite outgoing, but I am a secret introvert - I love meeting new people in small groups, but I'm not great in large crowds, and I value my alone time. My favourite things to do are somewhat opoosite - anything that takes me outdoors somewhere beautiful, or alternatively inside somewhere cosy with a good book and/or knitting and good company.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I spent two weeks couchsurfing around the East Coast of the US with a friend in the Summer of 2011 and had an amazing experience - met so many fantastic people, and made friends that I stayed in touch with for a number of years. I haven't surfed since (no particular reason, I just haven't made the effort!), but its a lovely way to meet people when you're in a new town or city.

Intereses

Knitting, reading, attempting not to forget how to speak Spanish, theatre, skiing, hiking, cycling. My boyfriend is also slowly turning me into a Board Game convert - current favourites are Carcassonne, Pandemic and Suburbia.

Eating the most amazing bruschetta/kebab things in a little village in the Pyrenees....
Skiing - all the time - the scenery, and I'm sure its the closest I can come to flying...!

Teach... maybe a little bit of spanish, reading music/playing clarinet (although I've never tried to teach anyone - we'll see how that goes!). Definitely can teach knitting (boyfriend currently in progress with his first sock!)
Learn... I would love to learn more languages. And how to crochet properly.
Share... A slight obsession with Doctor Who? And I can cook reasonably well :)
