Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I have a spare room and an inherent lust for meeting new people from different corners of the world.
ABOUT ME
Travelling western Europe last summer (2012) has left me yearning for the discomfort of the unfamiliar, the excitement of the unknown. Unfortunately being alive insists on money and responsibility and an entire list of constraints that would breed anarchy if they didn't apply, so here i am in Birmingham sketching my way through a fine art degree and earning my money as a marketing assistant. I wear red lipstick and drink earl grey tea and read Anaiis Nin. One day i want to go hitchhiking across Spain and France. If i ever get to meet Stephen Fry or Pete Doherty i will edge closer to being able to 'die happy', as they say, but thats another conversation.
PHILOSOPHY
'Life is not a clock, its a cloud'

Interests
Reading...i think there is a lot of wisdom to be found in the words of Wilde, Waugh, and, i hear, Woodehouse, although i am yet to read any.
Food. I like to cook, i love to eat out. Gin and tonic, bottle of red, scallops, that's a meal.
Spirituality....the really important things are almost impossible to write about so from now on its words separated by full stops:
Drawing. Art. Contemporary art. Cy Twombly. Russian Politics. Writing, writing poetry, never showing anyone. fry and laurie. laughing and drinking wine, playing scrabble, sitting on the floor next to the radiator, train journeys. learning to speak French. being inconsistent. russian dolls shaped like cats.
I have been described in the past as a Champagne Hippy, which i think is quite accurate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I must admit with reluctance that i don't have a great deal to contribute to this section. I left home when i was sixteen. A lot of the time i had no money, but there was always money to buy my Chanel lipstick. I struggle with the idea that i am shallow. I like to help people but i'm not self righteous about it. We're all looking for the truth, and nobody knows what it is.
the little things, the little things.
Teach, Learn, Share
i think i've already exhausted this platform in the above sections.
