ABOUT ME

We are two, Benn and Catriona, (now 3 with young Jonathan). We are ecologically-minded, we are (and love being with) positive and creatively-minded people.
In 2009 we travelled to several countries, playing and writing music and meeting wonderful people!!! This was how we discovered couchsurfing....
Now back in Australia, loving our lives, exploring parenthood, making music, enjoying life.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect, accept, love ourselves and others. Love is it!
Manifestation of wonderful things happens when we put our intent strongly on a goal, yet also feel completely detached from the outcome.
Taking responsibility for ourselves and our lives, and cultivating total freedom, physically, economically, mentally and spiritually.
Race and religion are constructed to keep people separate, for us this is nonsense... we are ALL humans living on planet earth. We are one, infinitely diverse and indivisible. It is fear that makes us perceive that we are separate from each other. And so, in a world that appears increasingly controlled by fear, the two of us try to live as fearlessly and as lovingly as we can, even though its challenging. This is our "work". Even though the hourly rate doesn't appear that high, the value and the kickbacks are astronomical!!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have so far just couchsurfed.
We have had such rich experiences that you can never get staying in a hotel It has been truly wonderful.
We plan to host when we get back home, or wherever home may be in the future. The project has really changed our perceptions about hospitality, generosity and trust in very positive ways.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have surfed in Germany and Turkey, about ten hosts alltogether. All fantastic, special interactions and some really special friends made.
More than once we have stayed with people while they weren't there, they simply gave us the keys and trusted us. The best times have been when we have actually spent a good amount of time with our hosts, talking, sharing each others life experiences, both giving and receiving. We especially love being able to cook and eat together.

Interesses

A lot! Permaculture, growing food, Kombucha (we can explain if we meet you, or look online-we make it), kefir (same), art, making and dancing to music, reggae, Freeman stuff, Thrive movement, David Icke, real food and drink, nature (internal and external), mountains, swimming. Connecting. Doing things a little differently. Raw milk and butter.
