My mission is to introduce others to the absolute pure joy of waking up in the woods

ABOUT ME

I am a vegetarian trying to eat a mostly vegan diet. I like to grow vegetables, trap-neuter-release the cats that irrisponsible people dump on my road, bird watch, read, cook, hike and appreciate nature.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone must strive to find their Something More. I live my life looking for mine. If I find it -- wonderful. If I never find it, I am enjoying the journey and, hopefully, touching others along the way.

My all time favorite movie: The Bridges of Madison County. What disenchanted, middle aged woman hasn't gone through a box of tissues over that one? I like many kinds of music and will read just about anything I can get my hands on from Business Week magazine to Robert Frost.

I have hiked the Finger Lakes Trail in Western New York. This is the most amazing, beautiful, well kept secret out there. Then...I moved to the woods...all by myself.
