ABOUT ME

I am 24 and teach at an all-girls secondary school in Christchurch. My boyfriend and I own a house in the very centre of Christchurch. We have been together for 3 years. Walter is an Engineer who owns his own business. We have been working hard, getting our new house renovated for the last 9 months and are looking forward to relaxing, having fun and socialising with our friends for a while. We would love to meet new people from around the world, as we already have some great friends from the US, Bangladesh, Malaysia, UK, Germany and Iceland. You can never have too many friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would love to stay in safe, comfortable, free accommodation and offer others the opportunity to stay with us. We believe if we are good to others, then they will be good to us. Sounds like a good deal to me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We haven't started surfing yet, but we welcome those who want to sleep in our spare double bed. We are looking forward to our time in Europe in December and January. We hope to couch surf over that time.

Interests

Reading, watching movies, spending time with friends and family, eating, drinking, mountain-biking, trail biking (Walter is a bike fan), playing netball and football.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have studied French and German and would welcome the opportunity to practise these languages on unsuspecting couch surfers. As an English teacher, I may be able to help you with your English. Walter knows a huge amount about cars, as he owns a business that does Electronic Fuel Injection.
