ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Katerina and my friends call me Katka or Catt. I come from Prague in the Czech Republic.

I'm a very active person, I like to do sports, travel, eat and get to know new things, new cities and new people :) I love to see different lifestyles, interesting places and diverse views on how to live a happy life.

I found out that the one thing which makes me really happy is helping others :) And that's why I do a lot of volunteering: I help to NGOs, organize neigbourhood festivals, help to organize conferences about city planning and culture, I founded a student club in my faculty.. All these things drive me forward, because the good you give away always comes back to you multiplied :)

I'm looking forward to meeting you and hear about your lifestyle and life philosophy!

You always need to have a dream that everything is possible.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is just the best way how to discover new places and get to know great people.

Unfortunately in Feb 2015 one bad experience happened to me, when my money was stolen in our CS host's house... But I decided I won't let it ruin all of my other great experiences with awesome people I met thanks to CS!

I won't lose my faith in people, I will still believe that people are good. That's why we are Couchsurfers :)

兴趣

I play volleyball and do pole dancing, I used to play football, frisbee, tennis or football-tennis - typical Czech sport, it's really fun.
I love food and trying new flavours and typical dishes.
Travelling, architecure, music, going to concerts in underground clubs, movies etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

There are many moments on my travels which were amazing: standing on a coast of Atlantic ocean in Porto, walking to Finisterre in heavy rain, seeing Santiago de Compostela, diving in the Philippines..

But the most amazing thing I've done was my decision that I want to help people. And since then I started volunteering. Nothing makes me more happy than this.

We can also practice languages or I can share some architecture knowledge with you.
