Live, Laugh, Love, Learn

Born in "Small Town", USA, I moved across my home state to attend the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and have been broadening my horizons ever since. I caught the "travel bug" during my first year of university, and have been traveling as much as possible for the last 10 years. I've helped build a house in Ecuador, volunteered in Ethiopia, au paired in The Netherlands, wandered about parts of Europe, taught English in Cambodia, met up with my best friend in China, lived with a family in India for a 6-month stint, ventured through Vietnam, enjoyed Spring Break in Costa Rica, and more... Traveling is in my blood, and so is a love for people. Lately, I've been learning to live life on my own terms and am trying to continuously learn and be the best me I can be. The experiences, wisdom, and lessons learned through my adventures are some of the greatest of my life! Aside from all that, what else can I say? I'll think you'll just have to meet me and get the full experience for yourself!

I've surfed a handful of times, been to many meet-ups while living abroad, and have met some of the most extraordinary people through CS.I love the idea of a global network of people willing to open themselves, their homes, their cultures to others. Not to mention, traveling the US can get quite expensive; I'm happy to alleviate a bit of the costs and show others a local's perspective of my home!
