Hi! I'm Sarah, 30 years old, born in Italy. I left my hometown 12 years ago and since then I've been living quite a nomad life, I don't like to stay always in the same place :) First I lived in Ireland for 2 years and that was my gate to meet a lot of people from all over the world. After that I decided to go travelling in South America and I ended up there for a couple of years. Once I came back to Europe, I started to work in a beautiful place in Norway where I go back every summer still now. During the winters, I have been either working as a dog musher both in Italy and in Norway, one winter I spent it in Sweden taking care of a friends' house and their pets, and the last two winters I have been enjoying long holidays in Spain with my boyfriend. I have a dog, Olly, whom I adopted in Norway 5 years ago. He always comes with me, therefore we always travel by car.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I registered with Couchsurfing during my trip in South America. I used it few times and it was a great experience!

I've never been hosting so far.

Interests

I love to be in nature, especially mountains and forest (that's why I felt so much in love with Norway). I enjoying going for hikes with my dog and with friends, looking for mushrooms or edible plants. I also like to make handcraft, especially crochet and macramé and I am always ready to learn something new. Concerning outdoor activities, I did some climbing, slacklining and kayaking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I adopted a puppy during my travelling in South America. It turned out to be quite a big dog so it was not always easy to travel, we even hitch-hiked for 1,5 month in Brazil. Unfortunately he passed away due to an accident with a car before I managed to bring him to Europe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help out if you are whising to learn one or more languages I speak or if you want to learn to make some handcraft. I also like to cook even though I don't always do it the proper Italian way ;) I'm a clean and tidy person and always like to give a hand at home. Olly, my dog, he behaves very good in the house and he is very social with people.
