Music: David Bowie, Radiohead, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Elliott Smith, The Clash, Nirvana, Blur, Pink Floyd, Joy Division, Iggy Pop/Stooges, PJ Harvey, Talking Heads, Joe Cocker, Fiona Apple, Pulp, Muse, Pearl Jam, Gorillaz, Alt-J... this list could go on forever, haha. I am a child of the 80's & 90's, so I'm pretty into all of that good stuff. I love Rock and Roll, Punk, and Grunge, but I also have a soft spot for Pop and other non "rock" genres. I don't discriminate when it comes to music, to me - if it's good, it's good :)
I've been a music lover my whole life, and there is almost nothing better to me than going to see live music.

Movies/TV: I love everything Richard Linklater, David Lynch, and John Waters have ever done. Aside from them, some favorites are- The Fall, Arrested Development, Six Feet Under, Tommy Boy, Thelma & Louise, The Sergio Leone trilogy (Clint Eastwood westerns), LOST, Archer, South Park... My favorite movies are ones that are either hilariously bad (i.e.: Children of the Corn), or really dark, make you question everything, and you have to rewatch a few times before you really understand everything you just watched. I'm also a huge fan of stand up and various other kinds of comedy. Some favorites off the top of my head are Bill Hicks, Mitch Hedberg, Tim Minchin, The Mighty Boosh, The State/Stella, etc...

Books: Jon Krakauer... everything he's put out, The Stand & The Dark Tower series - Stephen King, Dolly: My Life and Other Unfinished Business -Dolly Parton.
