ABOUT ME

54 year old female Drama Teacher, traveling with civil partner to New Mexico, Arizona and California. Last time I was in California was in 1976! Jimmy Carter had just been elected. Live in Oxford, England but originally from Edinburgh, Scotland. Have traveled to many places, all of Europe, North Africa, Middle East. Speak English, French and some Arabic.
Partner is Reader in Sustainable Design (Architecture) at Oxford Brookes University.

PHILOSOPHY

Have lived a very good life with many experiences which I hope will continue. Every day is for learning something new. In the words of an old Hippy song 'You know that I could be in love with almost everyone, I think that people are the greatest fun!'

Music, Movies, and Books

World Music, Jazz, Opera. I like European movies and some American movies. As far as books are concerned, I like the English classics of the 19th century, American writers of the south, Shakespeare of course, English drama of the 1960's and many many non fiction books. My favourite Californian writer is John Steinbeck.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to two amazing deserts, climbed some beautiful hills, given birth to two amazingly beautiful boys (now young men). Taught in all sorts of places, in many countries. Directed some magical dramas and met some of the brightest and interesting people on this Earth.

I am a natural teacher and have been doing it for a long time. I can share any and all of my skills with regard to my travels and experiences in this world. I am a very good cook and love to dance,sing and have fun.
