ABOUT ME

Hi there. What am I supposed to say here? Pressure. Um, I'm John from Ireland but lived in Korea for 4yrs teaching english. Recently moved to Vietnam to do the same. Feel free to drop by if in the Ho Chi Minh area.

If I start to actually go into this we could be here awhile, I tend to go on tangents that do loop the loops and sometimes meet in the middle.

Lots of older music, Nirvana, the Pixies, the Beatles, Led Zepp, the doors, Bob D, stone roses etc. Damien rice and the arctic monkeys get a lot of playtime too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love football (saaawker) so I could go on for days about amazing things I've seen from players but I won't. Recently I was diving in Bali and I swam with 4 white tipped reef sharks which was very cool. I've done maybe 10 dives before and never saw anything much so I was delighted. Really want to dive with a great white for some reason. I've seen lots of other cool things but it's a case of you had to be there I'd say.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can listen to most and find myself being interested in the most random things. Political and social issues tend to twitch my ear a bit. A funny story is always good too and never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
