About Me

We have 4 dogs,2 rabbits, 60 mice and one bird of prey and off course a lot of laughing.
We live in a cave house in the campo 7 kilometers from the nearest “main” road, with no house in a distance of 5 Km. At 1017 meters altitude, on our own 18 ha.
At that place, we are having water, electricity, heating, WIFI, but bad GSM signal.
We are planning to install our own vegetable garden and eat as much as possible from own ground without compromising on quality of life. Grown vegetables, eggs, honey etc.
We also have our own bird of prey, a red-tailed hawk. ( the only 100 % non-vegetarian )
We are going to install for the animals that live in the wild, water and food.
The big attraction of the cave houses is the fact that you feel in a cave house like in the nature. That security, peace, tranquility and beauty of nature. An additional advantage of the cave dwellings is the constant temperature. It’s always fluctuates between 18 and 20 degrees. An asset should not be underestimated in a climate like that of Andalusia where it is easily 40 degrees in the summer. "In a cave house is cool in summer and warm in winter . " In the winter the cave maintains 21°C and in the summer the same
Who wants to live in a cave? Well it would appear that many people all around the world have found caves to be a very practical and in lots of cases a luxurious form of dwelling. They can have all the mod cons and of course not forgetting the eco credentials of the natural insulate properties of living in a home with more than meter thick walls and meters of rock or hard clay as a roof. So if you fancy something a little different with an eco-slant then get yourself over to the Granada province of sunny Spain and have a scout around. This area is also abundant with lakes, mountains, natural parks and beautiful white washed villages, what are you waiting for? We are living in the most important paleontological sites in Europe. In this area you can do hiking, cycling, swimming pool from a natural hot spring and visit many museums…
