ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from a small Liberal Arts college with a degree in Marketing and Finance.

I have been a competitive runner for the past 10 years and was a varsity athlete on my college's Track and Cross Country teams. I ran my first marathon last fall and fell in love and have run 3 marathons since.

I'm pretty laid back and enjoy a good beer or two on the weekend. In addition to running, I picked up road biking last year and love it. I want to do triathlons in the future as well.

I've also been building and repairing computers since I was 13-- something I have had a passion for for a long time. Because of this, I am pretty up to date on tech-related things as well. Other hobbies I have include photography (mostly sports photography. I've actually been hired by ESPN to shoot some high school events), cooking, and brewing beer / cider

PHILOSOPHY

I want to enjoy life to it's fullest. I try to keep myself as active as possible and love being outdoors.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few people and have surfed as well. Every experience I have had has been great -- meeting people from all over and sharing experiences has helped to open my eyes to different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Everyone I have met thus far through Couchsurfing has been awesome. I love meeting people and have through talking been able to learn about cultures from around the world. Visiting various cities is exciting, but when you get to know the local customs and people, it becomes an amazing experience

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Running with Linus (slinus), who was my host while in Zurich. He took me on a 15 kilometer run in the morning and I got to see all of the beauty that Zurich has, including picturesque winter scenery.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can cook, tune up bikes (with proper tools, of course) and repair computers. I'd say I can cook, but there isn't really any good "American" dishes that are unique. Seems like everywhere I go, there are American food joints.
