About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover my true mission

ABOUT ME

After a long stint of constant movement i have settled in Hazelton on a farm with my friends until my next adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

Live simply.

Live like bums, eat like kings

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have done quite a bit of couchsurfing, never hosted anyone. I am now living somewhere that is somewhat comfortable...house is under construction still. summer is better as we have a large field for tents and often have wwoofers and volunteers and friends around...also, I live communally on an intentional community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Virginia and New England I stayed on various couches for a month or so. Also Vancouver Island and Haida Gwaii I have been put up by some amazing people.

Interests

Surfing, snowboarding(splitboarding!!!), nature, camping, reading, languages, adventures, yoga, fishing, cafes and pubs, good food. I really like to find food from 'real' sources. Something more intimate than the supermarket experience to aquire what sustains us. Wether this is fishing, hunting, gardening, foraging or just buying from somewhere like a farmers market. I am also very interested in work trades and have had a couple really wonderful experiences with 'woofing' (wwoof=willing workers on organic farms). I find a LOT of things interesting. I will stop there

  • dining
  • yoga
  • pub crawls
  • gardening
  • reading
  • fishing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

took a 12' skiff through Nootka sound(West coast, Van Island) and then out into the Pacific to get to a remote surf beach on Nootka Island where a friend and I had an island in paradise to ourselves for a week.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love all three of these things!
