Overview
About Me
Traveling brings me closest to the person I want to be; learning languages, observing new places and ways of thinking and participating in communities across the world connects me with other people and with myself. It is sometimes hard to appreciate the messiness of life, but I strive to see how every new perspective or conversation helps me to reflect more deeply about my role within society. Despite the complications of existence, it is an honor to live, and I want my story to be about collecting experiences that make me feel as alive as possible. When I’m not eating, laughing, thinking deeply or simply sleeping,I like to spend my time dancing, trekking around mountains, reading, writing, and listening to tunes.
Long Distance Walks:
*Camino de Santiago, Spain (Irun-Finisterre) ~ 950 km
*Likya Yolu, Turkey (Kayaköy - Çirali) ~ 300 km

Music, Movies, and Books
POETRY (Bukowski, Ada Limon, Ocean Vuong)... & a never-ending list of books (historical fiction, philosophical, memoir)
When it comes to music I like nearly everything- alt, rock, jazz/blues, classical, rap, and am always looking for new suggestions
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I spent a day swimming down a river bed through a remote part of Crete, and picking figs off a kind Greek man’s farm before hiking with a herd of sheep to emerge above a palm forest and cliff jump into the sea. Days like this affirm my love for adventure.
Teach, Learn, Share
“If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody Ahhh isn’t thinking.” I try to be proactive about people accepting difference- embracing the remarkable fact that we’re all born in the same way and we’re all dying on the same planet. Our stories are uniquely our own, but they overlap to remind us that we are in many ways also similar to one another.
