About Me

- Member since 2007 - OVER TEN YEARS OF COUCHSURFING! ---- I LOVE CS!! ----

- Couchsurfing has brought me so many happy moments, and made me such good friends from all over the world. Whoever is responsible for creating this website should win a Nobel Peace Prize for the happiness they have spread around the globe!

- Musician from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I play saxophone and percussion professionally, and piano and guitar as hobbies. Play mostly on Brazilian Street Carnaval and on bands that have it's origins on it.
I'm also a music teacher for beginners at any of those instruments. I used to be an engineer and I have also a degree in Law School, but found out that those jobs weren't for me!

- Sharing experiences with other people is always positive, even if the stories you share are not that positive!

- Don't survive, LIVE! When you die, people will know that you were happy during your time!

IMPORTANT FOR INCOMING SURFERS! PLEASE READ!

I analize all the requests I receive and try to make it possible to host you all. I love hosting all kinds of people! So I have to apologize in advance if I happen to decline your request without giving you a written reply, and you feel that is not fair to you (it isn't, indeed).
In the past, I used to answer everybody in details, but lately I haven't been handling so many requests, and since I wasn't replying on time (trying to write a fair answer to everyone), my reply rate dropped from 90% to 30%!
So just consider that, if I decline your request, it's because I really can't host you at the moment! And don't think I'm a jackass!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always been good at having conversations with people I've just met!
So I decided that I want to meet as many people as possible. Even if it's only for days, if that is enough to get to know and like a new personality.
Couchsurfing program is perfect for me, because I like to go to different places but, MOSTLY, meet different people. So whoever comes to my house I'll be glad to receive!

I first came to participate on couchsurfing when I was living in Portugal, in 2007. Back then, it was magic! CS was openning a new world for all travellers!

Well, ever since Portugal, it's been years of great friendships and remarkable moments due to the couchsurfing philosophy.. I've hosted americans, argentines, dutch, spaniels, canadians, and many others, specially other fellow brazillians looking for a place to stay in Rio! The important thing is to keep this great idea moving!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most people would share a moment during their travels, but in my case, the most amazing things I've done were right here at home, playing in Carnaval in Rio (that I do every year). To see the expression in everyone's faces shouting for freedom and happiness is priceless!
