I am the sweetest person you will ever meet. I love to smile so I do it constantly. I am curious about the world and others perception of the world. I love to learn and try new things. I thrive on good conversation and experience. I just want to live my life to what I believe the fullest possible way to be, and right now I need to travel :)

PHILOSOPHY

Be nice and communicate. We are all human beings with unlimited brain power. Lets put our brains together and see what wonderful things can happen. I love being alive and I treat everyone with kindness and as equals.

I do not agree with a capitalistic society run on fear and oppression. I do not agree with wage slavery while CEOs profit. I do not agree with culturally inflicted gender roles and sexuality.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met people while traveling and hosted them when they came through my city but I have yet to actually use couch surfing as a resource for this.

I am ceramic artist by trade so I spend a lot of time throwing pots on my wheel and glazing them in the studio where I work. I am immensely curious about the world. I spend a lot of my time learning, be it through books, the internet or conversation. I absolutely love visual arts due to the fact that it is critical thinking manifested into something tangible. Thought process. Thinking. Perception.

I am also a very strict vegan. In my philosophy that all life is important I make it a point that for me to survive nothing else has to directly die for my consumption. Also I just love animals so much I could never eat one. ew.
I really enjoy walking. I feel like a time traveler when Im in a car.

Music: 1920's ragtime and jazz, 1960's soul. I love being exposed to the musical taste of others.

Books: The book of flying, Harry Potter, 1984, The broom of the system, The Bartimaeus trilogy, Persepolis,Even cowgirls get the blues, The books of the abarat, Vegenomicon, Kurt Vonnegut...this is just off the top of my head.

Movies: Amelie, Charlie Chaplin, It (1927 version), Hudsucker proxy, Spirited Away, Harold and Maude, MONTY PYTHON, true romance, Howel's moving castle, the goonies, Midnight in Paris, Delicatessen, Mic Macs, Thirst, Rubber, Almost Famous, Synecdoche New York, Eternal Sunshine, Oh Brother where art thou?, Wet Hot American Summer, and Fantastic Mr Fox...just to name a few.

Moment #1 would have to be swimming in a wet cave called the 'Blue Room' on the north coast of Kauai, HI. You hiked 100 yards up the rocks to an opening and then down about 50 yards into the mouth of the cave where there was a pool of perfectly clear water so deep you couldn't see the bottom but so clear you could see your feet treading water. When you swim to the back of the cave and turn to face to opening the walls glow blue from the reflection of the sun light. It was magical.

#2 While hiking all over the southwest, my partner and I stayed at the north rim of the Grand Canyon during the annual star party put on by amateur astronomers. All the nights spent in the south west gazing at the stars were incredible but using a giant telescope to travel through space and time to see a galaxy consuming another smaller galaxy with my naked eye was AMAZING!
