ABOUT ME

I am a 26 Australian female currently travelling around the Mediterranean. >I am sociable, friendly and excited about the possibilities that lay ahead in my travels. Like good ol' Jack Frost, I too hope to take the road less travelled... "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference."To sum up, I'd have to say that I love to laugh and be merry with friends, both old and new. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am relatively new to couch surfing but am quickly discovering the amazing possibilities it offers. So far I have couch surfed twice and been to a couch surfing meeting at San Fermines - all amazing experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Joining and participating in couch surfing has been a wonderful experience so far...I have met many different and interesting people, forming friendships beyond the couch surfing online community. I've made discoveries about the generosity of people as they have welcomed me into their lives, always laughing along the way.i

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I find that the most amazing things in life happen when I least expect them. The following story is just one of these moments...So I was waiting for a ferry on Koh Tao Island in Thailand and I had half an hour before my ride arrived so I went for a wander along the wharf. I recall a very large waiting area under cover where only one lady was on duty selling tickets to those coming through. As I meandered along, I noticed a little girl at the far end of the building, playing and singing to herself. I continued in her direction, curious about her make believe game. As I got closer, I realised that she was pretending to be a traditional thai dancer. She had the long six inch nails (creatively made from chocolate wrappers) and a beautiful fan (a scrap piece of cardboard). I smiled to myself and thought of all the little girls all around the world dancing to their own cultural drum. As it turned out, she took a liking to me as I walked past her and soon recruited me as the newest member of her dancing troupe. And so...we danced. We put on our chocolate wrapper nails and danced. Magic.

I can teach you all about the split infinitive if you so desire....although its kind of boring.I'm more than willing to learn everything I can from my travels and the people I meet &If you're lucky, I'll share my mother's Chilli Con Carne recipe with you ;).
