ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Christina. I really enjoy new books and ideas as well as people. I just turned 20 and in college now, but am really excited to wander around the earth for at least a while after I finish. Oh, and I'm a vegetarian!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that we are all going to die anyway so we might as well try and enjoy the time we have ALTHOUGH this can be accomplished without hurting anything else. Also anything can be done, it's just a matter of making it a priority. For example human ingenuity is a staggering thing, but it saddens me when I see the US pour money, time, and technology into military endevours but letting alternative energy and education go by the wayside.

Interests

Delightful music, vegan cooking, TRYING (but not always succeeding) to learn not to eat shit on a skateboard, going to the park, incense, the telephone.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite movies are The Royal Tenenbaums, Mysterious Skin, and Into the Wild (which I think is a movie most couchsurfers would appreciate). Books: 1984, Brave New World, and Wicked. There are to many to name for Music, but right now I'm into Belle and Sebastian, Dandy Warhols, Feist, Ben Folds, and Blue Triangle.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm getting quite decent at cooking and can recommend good books :) I'm taking upper division Spanish classes now and it would be awesome to practice with someone.
