ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Caitlin and I am a photographer. I've lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, London, Munich, Paris and Barcelona. I consider myself so lucky to have been given the opportunity to not only travel to so many places but also to really live in these places and get to know them well. I'm hoping to finally expand past Europe in the next few years and travel to Asia and Latin America as well!

Though I can be a little shy upon meeting, I quickly open up once I'm comfortable and am actually pretty outgoing. I love trying new things and meeting new people. Expats are my people! They have a sense of wonder and the bravery to live life according to their own standards and that is something I really respect.

Absolutely wonderful. I am so amazed by the kindness I have experienced so far on my trips through Europe.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I love music! I've been singing a bit myself lately at open mics here in Barcelona, mostly jazz. That being said, my musical tastes are pretty eclectic. Some of my favorites right now are Lead Belly, Rufus Wainwright, Gillian Welch, Antony & The Johnsons, Frank Ocean, Father John Misty, and SZA.

As a photographer I'm usually drawn to movies mostly by the cinematography. I love There Will Be Blood for this reason. I also love Days of Heaven, The Hours..

I haven't been reading much lately but I'm kind of addicted to podcasts.
