About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Studying in Munich

ABOUT ME

My friends would probably say that I'm very easy to go with, that I don't have any high expectations. They would say I am very open and I try not to have any prejudices or stereotypes towards other people (although I'm very aware this is almost impossible).

I consider myself as a modest and friendly person, who is never afraid to laugh or make stupid jokes. But I can also be serious (from time to time), but I take life mostly in an easy way.

PHILOSOPHY

Take it easy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a couple of couch surfers when I lived in Serbia and I only had great experiences. :)

Interests

I am into culture, languages and getting to know people. I want to learn how they spend their lives, how they think about themselves and their basic values in life. Life is about learning, not about teaching, so I try to get as much input from different people I can in order to grow as a person as much as I can.

I am active in NGOs, working in the social sector and I try to engage myself as much as possible. I am interested in politics, what is happening around the world, in gender mainstreaming, gender equality, environmental topics, LGBTQ rights, and so forth.

I studied political science and sociology in Munich, and later International and European Relations in Sweden. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

More movies than books, I am afraid.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing that has really impressed me was the nature in Canada. Or the openness I experience(d) during my EVS in Serbia, of people I've met during travelling. The diversity and similarities people and culture have. I can't really pick single moments that really struck me, but rather a longer period of time with a lot of small experiences I would never want to miss.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States
