I am a Masters of Public Affairs student living with my wife in Indianapolis, IN. I am passionate about building community and using data and research to work towards sustainable community and economic development. In addition to being a student, I have also worked in community development and in economic development/research consulting.

I am a Christian and as such strive to be intentional about the impacts every action I take has on those around me, myself, and the world in which I live. I believe that I learn the most when I can see the world from the perspective of others, especially those whose experiences are most different from mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife and I have had great experiences with Couchsurfing. I attended Couchsurfing events while in Seattle, and have met some great people through both surfing and hosting in North Carolina. We've recently returned to Indiana and, though we're still settling into our home, would love to help visitors to our hometown state.

Interests

I enjoy ultimate frisbee, running, rock climbing, and listening to indie folk music, as well as hanging out with friends, cooking, and forming community.
