About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to explore the world and see who's out there
ABOUT ME
I'm a funny, charming, caring person. I love talking to people and experiencing what life has to offer. I like to push myself to do whatever it is that scares me, to push myself and others outside of our comfort zones so that we can become fuller humans. I like being challenged and being shown kindness, and I enjoy returning those favors. I moved to Italy as soon as I finished my degree and lived there for two years. I was able to see and do a lot that opened me up. Finding fun, like-minded people to hang out with and have adventures with is my epitome of a good time.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to be as kind and open to as many people as I can. I value compassion, respect, and open-mindedness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live in a cooperative house in Madison, and am trying to see how we can fit into hosting. We do have dinners, though.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never done anything like couch surfing, but it looks like a really amazing opportunity to meet people and get to experience a place on a much fuller level.
Interests
I like biking, running, reading, conversing, listening to music, walking around, watching movies, finding new experiences and friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to poppy music, but I willingly listen to most anything; I like being introduced, or re-introduced, to music. I don't know that I have any preferred genres for films, it really just depends on my mood. I'm very much the type of person who enjoys letting myself get sucked into the world of a movie. I don't read much these days, but my favorite piece of literature is the Divine Comedy; I usually read books that are recommended to me by others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Experiencing the Pantheon in Rome was probably one of the most profound moments of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to teach English in Italy, and know a fair amount of Italian. I have a passion for architecture, art, poetry, and communication. I have a broad base of knowledge that I love to have enriched by the expertise of others.
