I’ve been an English teacher most of my life and am currently doing an MFA program in creative writing for children/teens. Grew up north of Boston and have lived in Denver, Seattle, Singapore, Alaska, Chile, Arizona, and Oregon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked Mt Kinabalu in Malaysia and was the first one to the top! Followed 5 minutes later by a panting (ex) boyfriend and 10 minutes later by 2 very disappointed writers from Lonely Planet who were sure they were first.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to share writing, poetry, and music. I can teach you some basics in many social dances (salsa, west coast, blues, Lindy hop). I can also correct your grammar, but I try to only do that when I’m getting paid!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to cook you a meal (even know some great vegan and gluten-free ones), play you a song, write you a poem, or be your dance partner!
