I am artsy, and a lover of science and knowledge. I enjoy meeting and connecting with new people, discovering new cultures and worlds, adventuring (whether in my own city or a new one), health and nutrition. I'm friendly, easy-going, and open-minded.

Currently work as an independent contractor in events and marketing, though I'm ready to change fields.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people when I travel and making friends in new cities. I've found staying with locals creates a more personalized experience in travel. I used to travel to different cities through social dancing. In the swing and blues dance community, local dancers host out of town dancers. Through the social dance community, I have both hosted out of town dancers and traveled to new cities staying with local dancers. When I've stayed with dancers, I learned about the most incredible places to see and do in cities that I would never know about if I didn't stay with locals.

I haven't been able to dance the last few years due to injuries, so I thought I would try out Couchsurfing.
In Seattle, I enjoy hanging out with the local couch-surfing scene. I've attended potlucks, bbqs, camping trips, bar crawls, and birthday parties of couch surfers. I've met some fantastic friends through couchsurfing, and I thought I would try it out for some conference and work travels I have to make new friends in new cities.

I read lots of articles. For example today I learned that all commercial areas in France are required to cover their rooftops either with solar panels or greenery/plants. Green roofs are becoming super popular in Paris that even older buildings are voluntarily complying with the law building rooftop farms.

Last concert I went to was an Acapella group i loved for 10 years.

Last movie I saw. Now You See Me 2. I do enjoy some good magic.

Last Play I saw: Come From Away-- a musical about the flights that were redirected on 9/11 to Newfoundland. And how a town came together and more than doubled in size to host its guests for 6 days.
