Outgoing and active, I am always up for an adventure. I love travel (obviously, or I wouldn't be using this site) and find that it is the best way to learn about yourself. I believe that life is truly a gift, and that we should be thankful every day for the opportunity to be a part of this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that travel is essential to human growth. I also believe that meeting locals is the only way to get a real feel for any place that you visit.

Interests

I am an athlete; I compete in triathlons regularly and run in the off season. My favorite pastime is riding my bike! When I am on my bike, I usually have a big goofy grin that goes from ear to ear, and am probably humming some random music to myself!

I adore going to places that are surrounded by natural beauty, and am very interested in how humans have adapted to our surroundings (or rather, adapted our surroundings to suit us) throughout the ages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I consider myself very fortunate that I have had many, many moments that have left me awestruck. Some have been as simple as standing on top of the mountains outside of Albuquerque and watching to sunset to crossing a snowy field on a train in Norway.
