About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To give people a place to stay, so cultural experiences are possible for those on a budget.

ABOUT ME

I am currently living in Charleston, SC working as a Nanny and a Graduate Assistant. I am enrolled in the MBA program at the Citadel. I love to travel and meet new people. I love shopping, dancing, going to the beach, hanging out with my friends, and spending time with my family. Couchsurfing seeing the few countries I have visited have only heighted my desire to travel and meet new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be ambitious always, I want to be the best that I can be and help others, some day I want to work for the United Nations or a national humanitarian organization assisting with human rights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is a wonderful experience and I am excited to host a CSer whenever I get the chance. I hope that my guests will have as good a time visiting me and my city, as I had visiting new cities and new CSers. I am also interested in doing more couchsurfing, it is a wonderful way of meeting new people, and learning about other culters.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was in France and it was wonderful, Cecile was so helpful and friendly. When I stayed w/ her I was traveling alone, and was out of my own country for the first time, she made me feel at ease and I can't thank her enough. Since then I have met several wonderful people threw CS thank you so much CSers!

Juan I stayed w/ in Spain. He was also a wonderful host. He could not have been nicer, he cooked for me, took me to the monuments and sites that I wanted to see, and invited me out w/ him and his friends. It was a wonderful experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music, and I really mean this I love it all. I love movies, my favorites are Sense and Sensibility, Titanic, and A Few Good Men.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing, or perhaps the scariest, was when I went whitewater rafting. I went with my class and was partnered with a group of friends. I fell out of the raft and went down a class 3/4 rapid, with only clothing as a guard to the bolders along the way. A kayaker picked me out of the water and saved the day. It was truely humiliating, but an experience I will never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have traveled to many US places so I am able to assist with points of interest that are well known and not so well known. Also I have been in school forever, it seems, so I can assit with a lot of geeky things as well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Bahrain, Belize, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Mexico, Monaco, Panama, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
