ABOUT ME

I'm looking for some fun and experiences to check off of my To-Do List. I am interested in meeting all types of people and living life with no regrets! I went into teaching to "make a difference," and I am sticking to that, I just want to do some traveling first so I can offer the most I can to my students. I spent over a year traveling with a friend from home, cruising throughout Indonesia and Australia and then back to Bali. I just moved back to the States in the North West after living in Bali for 7 months and loving it! Life is short and so am I, so I'm doing what I can to see it all! Cheers!

PHILOSOPHY

I think that there is no guideline on how to live your life. I think that if you are good to yourself and good to others, all of our differences don't matter. Set your goals and standards high, and take responsibility for yourself. Enjoy this wonderful life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined a couple years back and surfed one couch back in the States, and it was an incredible experience. Now I'm in full travel-mode and am excited to meet more amazing people! Once I'm settled in some place, my couch will be open to fellow travelers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Portland, Oregon (USA) and fell in love with it! :) Couch surfed all down the East Coast of Australia and down to Tasmania.. and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I have met so many incredible people in my journeys, many of which who became good friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went skydiving for the first (hopefully not last) time over Mission Beach, Australia!
Climbed a volcano for sunrise in Bali.
Taught beautiful Indonesian 2nd graders in Bali for 5 months
Was in three earthquakes in Indo.

I am here to learn from others and would love to share my experiences with anyone who is interested. I have some pretty wild stories from my recent travels in Indonesia and Australia! Every day is a new fucking wild adventure once you leave the US, so I plan to have a lot more to share here soon :)
