So I have a rather heavy past, but I am slowly building myself again, very slowly but small steps makes a steady path.

I was raised in Laos with a multilingual family and later on came to France for my studies. I am a very big foodie, love to eat and also to cook but I’m a terrible baker (but would love to learn).

I believe I’m much more lao than I am french.

Because of my accident, I’ve grown to become more like a hermit but I am very open by nature and also very curious.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I used Couchsurfing once because I was lost abroad and met very nice people through this. However, I’ve been in a severe accident that left me very insecure about my lifestyle and of course, unable to travel.

I have become more independent, and more open to social interaction since then.

I have met amazing people that I still keep in touch until now from the one time I used Couchsurfing. I hope that I could have such encounters again.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I’m not so sure myself?

The things I consider amazing may be different for others?

But when I was in high school, my friends and I wanted to help make Laos better, and we thought about how lucky we were to have access to good education compared to the people living in the village further away from the city. So we brainstormed how to do that, planned it out, asked for help from the NGOs, our school and we made it happen, through charity events, we built a school and gave them equipments, while getting help from the NGO to maintain the school afterward by providing a teacher. If more children had access to education, Laos would have more hope for the future and being able to be part of that and seeing the children excited to learn, was an amazing experience.

Being able to make an impact for the better of someone’s life is the most amazing thing I could do.
