Being completely burned out and tired after being awake and running for 36 hours on my last day in Cairo, Egypt -arguably one of the noisiest places on earth- I find myself on the roof of the student's dormitory, meditating into the sunset, with cranes flying over the sky and the iman calling for prayer.
That one moment of peace. That one moment of silence. It was there.
