I never planned it, but in April 2012, while vacationing in Karon Beach in Thailand, I experienced what it feels to be evacuated after a tsunami warning followed by an earthquake on a nearby coast of Indonesia. I do not recommend the first sensation to anyone, but I never imagined chatting and meeting interesting people in a shelter for tsunamis.
