About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Try couchsurfing in Italy to know the best of it!!!
ABOUT ME
I am a 20 years old student, having a free half year exchange in the Netherlands. I cherish every moment in Europe and keep travelling around to explore as much as I could. I had great trips
PHILOSOPHY
To improve myself. I think that there are thousands of things that I could learn and equip. I want to become better and better. By knowing more about other people's culture and stories, I would become more open-minded and versatile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I heard CS from my friends, who had wonderful experiences with their hosts. They had nice exchange of ideas and tried different kinds of local food.
I believe it would be very nice and I decided to have the same experience too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I did not have any experience yet. But fortunately, when I was travelling in Oslo, I met a host and his guest ,we had a good chat and had dinner at his place finally. It was a nice experience and I hope I could have it once more.
Interests
Football!!!
I love football and I start watching it 10 years before, especially the Premier League.
Travelling!!
I like travelling around and chatting with other travellers or locals. I believe these are real lessons and I can only get these invaluable experiences by travelling only.
- culture
- dining
- traveling
- coding
- soccer
Music, Movies, and Books
Pop music of Cantonese, Mandarin and English are my favourites. Also, I like classical music as well because I have been a member of harmonica band for 6 years in secondary school.
I like comedy and action movies. The former can help me to relax while the latter one can provide excitement.
Lonely Planet becomes my textbook during my period of exchange. I read it before the trips, during the trips and after the trips(preparing for another trips!).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Have been to the castle on the hill in Dubrovnik, which is partly destroyed during the war in 1991. The host of my hostel brought us there and told us the story of the city at war time. He was working in army and responsible to communicate by Morse Code. It is the first time that I could feel how's terrible war can be, not only destruction on building or trees, but also the impacts on residents living there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could definitely teach you some simple Chinese. As well, if you have a harmonica(even though a small one or a cheap one), I could teach you the correct way to blow and play the instrument.
Besides, I could share my experiences of travelling in these 5 months, but 13 countries in such a short period.
