Hey there! I’m CC. Bit of a world traveler but have been living on the West Coast for a while now. I’m an artist & musician, learning tattooing, love sculpture, installation, wild colors, bold lines, and lives lived fully & completely:)

I’m queer & transgender, and a very open, expressive & curious person generally. I’m in love with life and am always creating, singing, writing lines for songs or snapping random shots of cities while out on long walks

I’ve couchsurfed, wwoofed, lived in community & am very happy & eager to help chip in, get my hands dirty, and take care of the space. I love good conversations & trading stories, going on adventures, or making food together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m looking for a place to land, to catch my bearings and figure out a longer term situation. Ideally something where I can help out a little, contribute or barter or teach or anything. Would love to meet some cool new folks!

I’m also aware that bc I’m new on the site I’m not super connected to the web of other couchsurfers, but I have stayed at several places informally thru the years & also hosted many travelers at homes of mine, generally friends of friends, or just random good hearted folks I met on the street or at festivals. I truly believe in the informal giving economy, and do my best to contribute everything I can.

Anything beat generation or avant garde. I especially love the borderlands between all three, like music deeply influenced by poetry & cinema a la Jim Morrison or Iggy Pop or Jim Jarmusch, to name a few… I like all music across the board but especially artists who truly feel it deep, who create life changing experiences with concerts, like wild jazz, or Oh Sees, or incredible punk or hip hop…. Movies, I love David Lynch & John Waters, Paul Thomas Anderson, Wes Anderson, Penelope Spheeris Decline of Western Civilization, Buñuel, Jodorosky, Stanley Kubrick, weird oddball cult movies, lots and lots more

Also, I totally love old underground cartoonists from the Bay Area & that whole diy graphic style
