ABOUT ME

You only get one life to live, so live it right. That's how I see it. I love meeting new people and I live for new experiences and adventures. I'm down to earth, easy to talk too and always willing to lend a helping hand. I studied abroad in Granda, Spain in 2012 and spent time backpacking and CouchSurfing through Europe for a month thereafter. That was an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. Once back home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Communication & Journalism in Dec. 2013 and began working in Sales for a Marketing & Visual Communication company full time shortly after.
It was a couple of months ago that life threw a pretty drastic curveball and reopened my eyes as to how precious life and time really is. So, on a whim, I decided to feed my wanderlusting soul and purchase a one way ticket to Prague, Czech Republic. I am in the process of getting settled and finding a job teaching English. My European travel itinerary is still in the works at the moment as I am not entirely sure what my schedule will be, but I am looking forward to everything this year has in store for me, meeting new friends and making more memories that will last a lifetime.

PHILOSOPHY

I live every day to the fullest and make it my daily goal to make others smile, laugh, and feel good about themselves no matter what. I try not to let things get the best of me, and understand that everything happens for a reason. Smile.. life is too short to be anything but happy- spontaneity is key.. and makes things more fun!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cannot emphasize enough how thankful I am for the experiences I have had because of my previous hosts. Each and every one contributed to the unforgettable memories made while I was in Europe in 2012. I truly cannot say enough about the CouchSurfing community.
I will be looking for hosts to CouchSurf at various points throughout this journey and will be looking forward to hosting people in my home town of Albuquerque, NM upon my return. I think CouchSurfing is a wonderful way to meet new people and get a better feel of the lifestyle and culture in given areas.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I love all types of music and movies! But some favorite movies are Step Brothers, The Departed, 300, Saving Private Ryan, The Sandlot, Dodgeball, and Old School. As for music, I have an appreciation for everything from anything EDM, Reggae to Country to Indie rock to Old Rock to R&B/ hip-hop and House. I listen to it all.
Some favorite books- The Kite Runner, The Shack, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Notebook (haha)
