ABOUT ME
kind of wierd describing myself in a box. I'm a plethora of awesomeness.
PHILOSOPHY
I feel that the most honest way to live life is to live it consciously. Appreciate everything. Acknowledge everything. Consider everything. The world is a a big place. The world is a small place. There is so much to learn and experience the only way to do it is by moving forward. seek to gain knowledge from the ridiculousness that is life. the only person that can hold you back is you. i truly feel that once you give up on trying to control everything in life, you will notice all the amazing things that reveal themselves every moment of everyday.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I am a huge fan of Derrick Jensen. After reading 'A Language Older Than Words', my life (along with countless others) have been changed. I also love Herman Hesse, David Sedaris, Chuck Palaniuk, Kurt Vonnegut.. way too many to list. But my range is from bio/neuro/science, physics, philosophy, language, poetry, music, environmental & political science, to all sorts of weird/ awesome fiction and yes, who doesn't enjoy cracking open a childhood favorite to engage your sense of humor? Music: i don't know where to begin!! right now listening to John Coltrane, and currently loving CocoRosie, Dillinger Escape Plan, Grails, Aesop Rock, Iron and Wine, Ani DiFranco, Explosions in the Sky... I love instrumental/ experimental rock, psychedelic, singer/songwriter (the inspiring stuff), select hardcore/metal/hiphop/classical/jazz/blues..
my music collection is ridiculous. I officially can't keep up with it. Movies: La Planete Sauvage, The Science of Sleep, Planet Earth, Match Point, The Yellow Submarine, Monsieur Ibrahim, Eulogy, There Will Be Blood, Mullholland dr. and all david lynch, coen brothers, wes anderson, many of the pixar animantions and independent films / shorts.. so many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The one amazing thing I've seen/ done in my lifetime is that I'm surviving it! That would seriously require volumes of books! The whole malarkey. Seriously. My life = crazy story ;-) and so it continues!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Always keep an open mind with EVERYONE. Yes, there are first impressions that will last, but everyone has an entire conscious/ subconscious history that is trailing them and perceiving the world in that body. And let's face it, everyone is crazy. But, you can always find a bit of yourself, learn from, take something away from, and add to your understanding of life from every single person you meet. They are an experience within themselves!
