Hi, I’m Camille! My home is in Gatineau, Québec, which I share with my boyfriend, Jay! I love to be outdoors and I’m the happiest when I’m active outside, regardless of the activity. From gardening at home in the summer time to hiking, birding, foraging, backpacking, camping, , snowshoeing and exploring, I spend as much time outside as possible. You can often find me on the trails of Gatineau Park on weekend! I’m passionate about discovering new places, revisiting favorite trails, taking photos, planning trips and learning about what nature has to offer.

I do have a sense of adventure but it doesn’t only apply to the outdoors. I have a great appreciation of what life as to offer. I absolutely love food and enjoy cooking great big meals to share with friends and trying new flavors. I always say that someone with a stomach full of good food is a happy person! I love music, art and culture, going to concerts and good parties with good people but I also enjoy my quiet times watching a good movie or reading a book.

There are many great people out there, many places to visit and so many experiences to enjoy... :)

I live my life to hopefully make the world a better place to be in. Not in the sappy sense but I hope to do something great in someone else's life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I personally believe it's an awesome way to learn about a culture and to meet new people as a host or as a traveler!

It's a way to visit a country that is unique because hosts are a part of the soul of the city they live in, they have something special to say about their city, they know where to go, what to visit, they can tell you things a book can't tell you and show you little hidden gems!

Overall, I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet enthusiastic people of all over the world !
