HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
May be interested in surfing here and there and hoping to host as well, mostly in upstate New York, near Kingston.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I grew up with my parents having guests from Eastern Europe visit us which piqued my interest in the whole idea of couchsurfing and hosting. I've also been a host with SERVAS which is similar in some respects to CS but based loosely on a philosophy of non-violence/world peace. I’ve also been a host on Airbnb in NYC for years. I've slept on several couches here and there but not so much as a traveling experience.
