ABOUT ME

I am a full-time musician, and playing music is my passion. I play all kinds of music, but mostly jazz and improvised music. Performing, practicing, reading, and teaching occupy lots of my time. I love being around open-minded, peaceful people. Learning is one of my best attributes!

I'm hoping to live overseas at some point in my life. I hope to return to/visit the place I lived for the first 5 years of my life, Singapore - I haven't visited since our family left in 1986.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch-surfed on a family's couch in Leeds, England (but not through this website). i contaced a nearby school and had them put up posters, and a person emailed her! had the most amazing experience with this family, comprised of a jazz vocalist mother, modern artist father, actor daughter, and Chicago-police knowledgeable son! Late nights and lots of drinks characterize my experience in Leeds. can't wait to do it again!
