ABOUT ME

She - I LOVE to travel and meet new people. I will try anything once, and I love goofing off with my friends. I love to explore, I am easily distracted and like to follow my wandering mind.

He - I have traveled to Peru and hope to one day see Spain. I'm quiet but outgoing, willing to try just about anything.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what makes you happy, but don't step on other people to get there. We should help each other because it makes the trip a bit easier and all the more fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Alysha & Ben have hosted a few couch surfers (pre-kids) and Alysha has enjoyed a few couch surfing experiences.

We don't always travel together, and have two young kids so travel has been limited.

Interests

She - I like to hike, talk to people, learn new things. I coach gymnastics on horseback (equestrian vaulting). Rugby - love it! And I like watching hockey and playing ball hockey with Ben for fun!

He - Ball hockey, soccer, having fun, video games, rollerblading.

Music, Movies, and Books

We - Listen to any kind of music really. We don't watch much T.V., but
She - Reads, knits, sews, tats, loves crafting.
He - Plays video games, reads a bit, loves comedy and action movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

She - Seen/done- The deserts in Arizona, and the sand dunes, absolutely beautiful! And an amazing breeze. Running down the sand dunes was great because you go so fast you can't stop. So I let my body just fly and when I got to the bottom I threw myself to the ground because I didn't want the rush to end by slowing down to a stop.

He - Trip to Peru, ate llama meat and guinea pig.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, bake, craft, always up for teaching people to knit/tat! I am very social and game for hanging out, playing games, going out and exploring!
