About Me

Hello! My name is Ludovic; I’m French and a digital nomad.
I usually live in Madrid, but I love traveling while working remotely.

I work as a French teacher for companies in Spain, which allows me to travel while working remotely. I love discovering new places, meeting people from different cultures, and sharing stories and experiences.

I’m a very sociable and curious person. I love connecting with others and learning about their way of life. I’m also passionate about salsa (including the music!), and you’ll often find me on the dance floor wherever I go.

When I’m not working or dancing, I love exploring nature, especially hiking in the mountains. I’m also a motorcycle enthusiast and love to travel on two wheels whenever I get the chance.

I’m also a musician, so music plays a big role in my life.

Currently single, I’m easygoing and always happy to meet new people :)

I look forward to sharing good times, conversations, and maybe even a dance!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing mainly for the people.
When I travel, I’m not just looking for places, I’m looking for connections, conversations, and shared moments.

I think Couchsurfing is a unique community. People here often have an open mind, curiosity, and a genuine desire to connect. That’s what makes every experience different and meaningful.

I love the idea of arriving in a new city where I don’t know anyone, and still not feeling alone. Being able to share a meal, have a conversation, or discover a place through someone who actually lives there makes the experience so much richer.

For me, Couchsurfing is not just about finding a place to stay. It’s about bringing people together, creating a small community where we can help each other, share experiences, and learn from one another.

Interests

Dance plays an important role in my life, especially Cuban salsa, which I practice regularly. I’ve also started learning bachata and enjoy discovering new rhythms and styles. Music is another pillar of my life: I’m a drummer, and I spent several years playing timbales in salsa bands in Madrid.

Outside of music, I’m very active. I love playing volleyball, traveling by motorcycle, and cycling. These activities give me a strong sense of freedom and adventure that I truly value.

I’m also very interested in psychology and personal development. I enjoy meaningful conversations, understanding people’s stories, and learning through different perspectives. Curiosity about others is what motivates me the most, and it’s one of the main reasons why I love traveling and meeting new people.

For me, Couchsurfing is an excellent way to build connections that go beyond appearances, share experiences, and create authentic human moments.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most extraordinary adventures I’ve had was a long bike journey from Bogotá all the way down to Buenos Aires. It took me about six months, and while I didn’t cycle every single kilometer, most of the trip was on two wheels. It was my biggest cycling experience so far—full of challenges, freedom, and unforgettable encounters along the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy cultural exchange: sharing stories from my travels, discovering local habits, and learning from each other. I’m always happy to cook something, share music, or just spend time connecting.
