ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in a pretty small town in Austria - all the way up in the Alps. That's why I love winter, snow and skiing. But I also really enjoy the beach and summer - a mixture of everything I would say ;)

I really learned a lot about myself within the last year when I worked close to Boston, MA as an AuPair.
I realized that I'm really open minded about culture, thoughts, food, people, languages etc. and I really enjoy learning about different ways to live.
I also learned that I love traveling and I set it as a new goal to get to see as many places (and with places I mean the ways to live there, to see what people are in this city, what food is like...) as possible :)

My next big adventure is going to be my exchange semester in Sydney, Australia which I am looking forward to just sooooo much right now! :D

I think I got a real good sense of humor and I love to laugh - every day is just better if you try to be happy and forget about your problems - at least for a little bit :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the idea of Couchsurfing because you see a place from a different angle. There's not just the tourist view that you normally get. If you get to know people who live where you visit you get a way better idea how this place really is. Just think about great restaurants or nice little insider places where no tourist guide leads you...

and that's the thing I want to show people - my favorite places - far away from all the tourism!

Right now I live in a student´s flat so I unfortunately cannot host anyone right now. But I would love to get some coffee or some drinks with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I can only list one CouchSurfing experience:

I went to Chicago with a good friend of mine in Feb.2010 and we stayed with Julia Curns. I need to confess - I was kind of nervous before we met her.. but after 5 minutes it was like talking to a good old friend!

I really enjoyed my first experience - it was way better than I ever expected :)

It was just amazing! Awesome.. would definitely do it again!
